Leaving Cert Music Technology
Training can be provided to guide teachers through the technology option of the Leaving Cert course. Inset training can be undertaken by teachers or delivered directly to the students.
Score writing assignment - Instruction can be provided on Sibelius or Finale Notepad software. Learn how to setup files, input notes, make use of shortcuts, carry out musical edits and print completed score.
Backing track assignment - Learn to sequence musical parts using Cubase, Reason or Logic (Mac only) software; record parts using a midi keyboard or input them using edit screens; edit pitch, rythm and dynamics for a professional finish.
Junior Cert Music
Learn how to use ICT in the classroom in order to stimulate and encourage students to develop their musical skills and knowledge. Discover software packages and educational programs that will fulfil ICT requirements and enhance learning in the classroom.
Music Tech Education have provided training workshops at the last 4 PPMTA conferences. Guiding teachers through the music technology options of the Leaving Cert course covering both score writing and backing track options. Our training includes contact time with both students and teachers and can be delivered on site at any school or training centre.
Music Tech Education can provide individual tuition for those people wishing to advance their skills in the field of music technology. Training can be arranged for all aspects of music technology including recording, sequencing, mixing, and the setup of home studio equipment.
